Send this letter to YOUR congressman regarding The Government HEALTH-CARE takeover

Dear Congressman Harry Mitchell,

If the Government health-care takeover were judicial, it would have to recuse itself from making decisions due to it's financially 'VESTED INTEREST' in the final decision.

Despite recent claims that the Democrats new health care plan will allow you to keep private insurance and your doctor and reduce health care costs, new facts have been discovered in the actual bill. On page 16 of the House bill, once the new government-run option is passed into law, private insurance companies will no longer be able to write new policies for anyone. People with private insurance will no longer be able to make any changes to their policy such as adding a spouse or shopping for a better rate at another company.

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office released its analysis of the Senate and House plans and both are projected to increase the costs of health care for everyone and provide health insurance for illegal immigrants.

The president and the Democrats in Congress are not being honest. They have every intention of directing everyone to a government-run health care option. By placing everyone on a socialized medical plan they can ration care and determine at what point it is OK for you to die. We already have examples in this country of government-run health care, the VA system and Medicare. The VA is a terrible system that nobody can label efficient and cost effective AND it's bankrupt!

We need some changes to the health care system but a government take over of health-care is NOT the answer. America simply can't afford it right now. Please start acting Politically and fiscally liable for the decisions you support (I will certainly hold you accountable).

Sincerely, your constituent,
